ARTIST J.Sharkey Thomas 
Forest sketches were done during the Carmanah and Tsitika camping expeditions sponsored by the Western Canada Wilderness Committee as part of the BC Artists' on- going efforts to help preserve the old- growth forests. Owl sketches were done at the Owl Rehabilitation Foundation in Vineland Ontario, through the kindness of Kay and (the late) Larry McKeever.
